Amna's interests in material assemblage, urban form, and fabrication are characteristic of her continuing research. Her award winning entry for an Italian Railway Station, outlined a methodology that influenced future accolades. Under Powers Brown Architecture she was a Project Designer for Industrial, Commercial and Public projects, following designs into construction. She also design directed competition entries under the firm that placed as finalists and were awarded design awards. In 2005 Amna also worked in Shanghai, China as a Project Designer on large scale international architecture and master planning projects.
Amna received her Master of Science in Architecture and Urbanism from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her Bachelor of Architecture from University of Houston. She has assistant taught undergraduate architecture design studios at UH and served as a teaching assistant for graduate studio at MIT. Read Less
