BIGGER BROTHER

Bigger Brother is a short animation about an 8 year old boy named Martin and his misadventure into a store owned by an ill-tempered, overweight possibly racist man named Craig. This store owner is facing an eviction notice for his store due to an evil university’s plan to expand their campus in the neighborhood. Originating from personal experiences, the narrative address a culture of fear resulting from a "Post 9-11 World" and an evolving surveillance society. Bigger Brother exaggerates this issue with surveillance cameras equipped with artificial intelligence and a racist algorithm possibly leading to the destruction of the human race. Bigger Brother was animated using traditional cel animation with 3D backgrounds, later digitally painted to unify the mediums.

Global Poverty is a motion graphics piece I did to remind everyone the poverty still exists and is a big problem, because we sometimes forget that they're people in the world less fortunate then us.
