For the past couple of years I have been immersed in art, even since I was a little kid tracing cartoon characters on magazine covers. There has always been an inner feeling of incompleteness inside me. A tendency to always fetch, observe, and discover. It has never been a predefined goal, or a thought with a plan in the head. Just a passion that grows greater with time.
I have always denied the fact that being an artist means you can draw or paint. I believe it is the truth behind a feeling. It’s a matter of perception of the surrounding world. Beliefs, as well, are a large part of art. Being one of those who have the capability of using the heart to visualize what’s around is what makes interesting art. Truth is the secret.
I declare myself, hence, of being honest to my works. Having this bond between myself and what I claim to be my art is art. Choosing the media, following a structured methodology, and researching can make art with higher levels of professionalism and competitive to others. However, the fact still remains. Truth.
