Drawing since I was 4, landscapes was the recurring theme and style I was attracted to-I drew buildings, mountains, rice fields, beaches, rivers, and cityscapes. Since then, my style have grown and my works are almost all illustrations (although I still draw cityscapes once in a while). Elements of architecture are still present in most of my work . They're mostly from the intricate line work that I use and the geometric forms that I implement in my illustrations. Having been educated in engineering (structural engineering specifically) also influenced my art style and reinforced my passion for architecture.
I attribute most of my work to architectural aesthetics that involve intricate line work with strong geometric influences. Most of the cityscapes that I draw are almost often drawn with this style. Illustration-wise, I draw a wide range of drawings from classic graphite/charcoal portraits to regular art prints. Conceptually, I associate to ideas that deal with the human experience and the relation of the natural and synthetic environment to human progression. Apocalyptic themes are also something I implement in my drawings--anything about gas masks or the undead. Read Less
