Artist Statement
Primarily working with large-scale acrylics and digital environments, my technical background has proliferated the influence of technology my work.
My entire body of work is articulated and developed around the relationship between contemporary art and urban-identity situations. My images draw on numerous visual and conceptual references to achieve an accumulative perspective on the benefits of digitally developed and expanded paintings. Connections between the media are established to banish the differences between them. I confront different modes of image production through similar aesthetics in order to open a field of perception located at the border of each medium.
