ENZO MARI From May 2006 to October 2008

Development and following of the whole project process in constant collaboration with Enzo Mari, regarding industrial products. Coordinated image and graphics, starting from the development of the very first formal hypotheses, going through the realization of technical drawings and to the execution of real models, arriving to the contacts with suppliers and to the real production.

Catalogue of Enzo Mari’s exhibition at the Italian Institute of Culture in Los Angeles.

Perpetual desk calendar “Today” for Nava (www.navadesign.com).

Modular wardrobe system in extruded aluminium for Robots (www.robots.it).

Project of a wooden chair for Hida Sangyo (www.em-hida.jp).

Bookcase system of steel plate containers “Venezia” for Robots.

Project development for stamped steel baskets for Nava.

Preparation and care of Enzo Mari’s exhibition “L’arte del design” (The art of design) from 29th October 2008 to 6th January 2009 at GAM in Turin (www.gamtorino.it).

For YDF S.r.l. (Carimate – Como): furnishings project for the Bulgarian consulate in Milan (www.ydf.it).
For Radice Mobili S.r.l. (Figino Serenza – Como): development of technical drawings of custom-tailored furnishings for private residences in Geneva (www.radicemobili.it).
For ADforniture (Mariano Comense – Como): coordinated imaging, product projecting, custom-tailored furnishings for chemist’s shops and for opticians.


PROSPERO RASULO From September 2003 to December 2004, Milano

Projecting of taps and fittings and of corian and baked clay sanitary fittings for factories like Gessi and Antonio Lupi. Development of different area exhibition stands. Alessandro Marelli, born in Brianza – very well known wood/furniture industry district in the North of Milan – has always been interested in and concerned with all the themes about “project”, participating in the development of public and private furnishing with different companies and architecture studios, getting so to the bottom of knowledge of the “subject” wood.
During his studies at “Politecnico di Milano”, Alessandro Marelli had the chance of coming in touch with Enzo Mari.
After the degree in Industrial Design, he co-operated for a short time with Prospero Rasulo.
Called by Enzo Mari, he has worked as his unique co-worker for some years. During this period he helped with the development of several projects, among them for example the preparation of Mari’s exhibition “The art of Design” at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Turin.
After this experience, Alessandro Marelli has decided to start his own atelier and to dedicate himself completely to the “project”. Read Less
