Aksel Ceylan is a multidisciplinary designer with more than ten years of experience working at agencies/studios, residing in New York City.

Graduated from Marmara University / Graphic Design Department, he also studied Graphic Design at Accademia Italiana in Florence.

Starting from 2010, he has worked at several design studios and advertising agencies such as J. Walter Thompson Istanbul, Publicis Istanbul, Alametifarika (the most prominent independent creative agency in Turkey), and C-Section (a WPP company). After working with Peter Arnell, he has decided to move to New York City and currently working as a Creative Director at SHVO. He also co-founded a design office, ‘Artı Stüdyo,’ with his partner Kaan Duygu in 2021, and he continues his creative works there as well.

Throughout his carrier, he had the opportunity to work for clients such as Axe, Sunsilk, Vodafone, Coca-Cola Company, and Mandarin Oriental, among many others.

His work has won every major design competition in Turkey, including Crystal Apple, Felis, Smarties, and MMA. He was awarded Mediacat's '30 Under 30 Top Creatives' in 2016.

Aksel is also highly interested in typography, creating hand-lettering videos, and drawing illustrations for various publications since 2011.
