Except for a few forays to the mountains of the West and the Pacific Ocean, Aisling Svennungsen has always lived in New England. There, she received her associate's degree in Fine Arts at Middlesex Community College, in her hometown of Middletown, CT. She recently received her BFA in jewelry and metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. She utilizes the natural world to explore her fascination with texture, and regards music as an important influence. Aisling can often be found on her bicycle or behind the lens of a camera, collecting inspiration for new and current work. Her most recent material interests include paper, organic fibers, and other nontraditional mediums. Read Less
