I'm Aidan Brook, a motion graphic designer living in Sunderland in the North East of England. I specialise in animation, illustration, motion graphics and branding. With a passion for all things bold, vibrant and immaculately timed, I create animations and illustrations for clients big and small. I graduated in 2015 from Northumbria University with a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) sandwich degree in BSc (Hons) Computer Animation and Digital SFX.
Designing and creating is my passion, I look at everything in everyday life to gain inspiration and motivation to try to construct my own ideas and design concepts. I have been working in art and design since 2009 from my secondary school and throughout sixth form, which influenced my decision to pursue a career in the design industry. I have recently graduated from Northumbria University in BSc(Hons) Computer Animation and Digital SFX.

• Valued integral member of the creative design team as a Motion Graphics Design intern, worked on live client briefs for The Fat Hippo Restaurant Newcastle, Moltin, AMV Live Music, Websand and Wilton Engineering Services.
• Enhanced self-time management, task organisation and communication skills whilst working in a cliental pressured environment to complete briefs to tight deadlines.
• Managed and led all motion related cliental briefs apprised by creative director, having a major input in everything involving animation, motion design and in client 3D brand identities and visuals used in various products and multimedia platforms.

Attended an industry speaker session hosted by Alex Pejic, a CG and VFX supervisor from Prime Focus UK. Shown CG and VFX breakdowns of several shots, gaining valuable insight into the preparation, lateral thinking and design process during the production of a worldwide movie, White House Down.
Participated in an Advanced Motion Graphics Workshop, hosted by Thiago Maia from CookieStudio where I learned and developed various skills and techniques in Adobe After Effects and MAXON Cinema 4D that have increased my overall workflow and handling of project.
