I studied writing at the University of Victoria upon graduating but in my 3rd year I accepted an invitation to South America and ended up going for several years of travel there and through North America and Europe. I studied photography in Victoria and assisted in London, England before going out on my own. I was influenced by photographers like Wolfgang Tillmans ( my first photo book ), Anton Corbijn, Robert Doisneau, Juergen Teller, Nan Goldin, Weegee, Anders Peterson, Helmut Newton. I love working.

I have a lot of editorial clients including Spin, Fashion, Flare, Swindle, Fader, Nylon, The Guardian, The Globe and Mail, Report on Business, Vancouver, Butter, Forbes .. and have worked with commercial clients creating custom images for hotel interiors, advertising and recording artists. I love music and working with musicians is something that I enjoy very much. Leeroy Stagger and Todd Fancey of the New Pornographers being two people that I have now worked with for several years.
