Adam is a West Michigan raised "left-brainer" with a knack for creativity. His architecture and design background is integrated with his process-driven, logic-backed working methods.

While at school in the metro Detroit area, Adam worked as a draftsman learning the construction trade. He volunteers for Habitat for Humanity (Kent County and Pontiac, MI chapters) and competes in design competitions to gain experience, hone skills and learn more about the profession.

Returning to West Michigan to earn an M.B.A. from Grand Valley State University (GVSU), Adam sought opportunities to learn about the elements of marketing. He took a design position with the GVSU athletic department to understand advertising and event promotions. He interned with a local automotive supplier to gain experience in sales. Then he spent 2 years with the GVSU Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation to understand event planning, business development processes for small start-ups and social media marketing.

Currently, Adam works as a marketing associate for Haworth Inc. on the Haworth Collection furniture portfolio. He is learning the value of targeted marketing campaigns and new product launches all the while understanding the importance of corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

Adam is an eager learner who appreciates the input of others while maintaining best practices that he has discovered through trial and error. Read Less
