It was a frigid day during the great Polar Vortex in Minneapolis when Adam and Nate first met. I think it was a Wednesday. Nate was having a pretty slow day, and was in dire need of a barley pop. After everyone else he liked turned him down, he pointed at Adam and said, “Adam. You. Me. Happy hour now. Your name is Adam right?”

Disregarding his better judgment, Adam gathered his belongings and followed Nate to the cowboy themed bar next door. The first 30 minutes there were wildly uncomfortable for both parties involved. So they got drunk. Obnoxiously drunk. At the end of the night they exchanged numbers, and promised to do it again.

In the professional arena, it was decided from the heads that they would be paired together on projects. They worked well together. So well that they continued to get paired together on everything ranging from Subaru to agency projects.

The pair decided that they wanted to keep their good time going, so they moved to New York City to be partners at Publicis Kaplan Thaler. Some say it was fate. Some say it was destiny.
