With over 3 years of freelance experience in the creative industry as a Graphic Designer, I began my career working for Testo AG’s Istanbul, Turkey office as a Graphic Designer back in August 2009 while attending my Bachelor’s Degree of Advertising & Marketing Communication at The University of Bahçeşehir.
My bachelor’s degree included international certifications, such as Erasmus Student Exchange Programme in Malmö, Sweden (Visual Communication) for 7 months and Erasmus Internship Programme in Graphic Design in Mosta, Malta for 3 months.
After moving to Sydney, Australia in order to accomplish my Master’s Degree in Design at The University of New South Wales, I started working at Splash Agency, located at Fox Studios on a permanent part-time basis in September 2010 where I worked as a Junior Graphic Designer on various projects, gaining more experience in both print and digital and working across diverse fields, such as logo design, brochure design, web design, POS design, packaging, advertising (including online) and so forth.
Studying and working have not been the only qualifications I have achieved. As a globe-trotter, I have been to 30+ countries across the world in order to get exposed to different cultures, type of people and lifestyles in order to actualise my passion for architectural photography, design and communication.
