Hello. My name is Gilberto Tavares, also known as YAGR (YouAintGotRythm).
I am a designer and creative director at Mediacode, a small design studio based in sunny Lisbon, Portugal.
Mainly designer, once a mucisian and sometimes a photographer, I discovered a passion for webdesign, logos and illustration, but I still do not know what I want to be when I grow up.
When I'm not working, you can find at the beach surfing, listening to music, going to gigs, going to the movies or just hanging out with my friends.
I like vintage stuff, fashion, guitars, stencil art, silk screen, Sushi, Tarantino movies, my city of Lisbon, Bairro Alto, Mac, Benfica (football club), Rock n' Roll, David Carson, Shepard Fairey, typography, Helvetica...but also AvantGarde, grids, logos and so on.
