Xander Davis is a creative media artist / media designer / UI Artist in the video game industry. He has formed his own design practice, Alternareal™.

Now a Senior UI Artist at Vigil Games, Xander is working on the forthcoming Darksiders II. He also served as UI Artist on Transformers: War for Cybertron at High Moon Studios (Activision Blizzard) for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, rated 9.0 "Amazing" by IGN.

Previously, Xander was also the Senior Game Designer, Writer and Senior User Interface Designer for an upcoming FPS fantasy action RPG with CryEngine 3. Additionally, he produced THINK TANK!, a game-industry & game-design discussion show, first featured on Kotaku.

As Force Effect, Xander has music on iTunes and is currently in a neo-80's synth-pop band Laser Kill (forthcoming). He is a Unity developer and learning Maya & ZBrush. His writing has been published on the official site of Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club). He designed and built xanderdavis.com (a CSSAwards Site of the Year Nominee).
