2015年初夏、”ViDeOM”がスタートしました。 ViDeOM(ビデオム)は、現代映像美術家・ビデオグラファーの宮永亮と、これまでプロダクトデザインに関わってきた宮永真実(ボランティア参加中)が、京都・修学院の一角の物件に手を加え、立ち上げた手作りのオフィスです。 この名は「宮永映像制作事務所」= "Video and Design Office MIYANAGA" の略であり、この２人それぞれの領域である"Video"と"Design"という単語に、"Idiom"（イディオム）と言う響きをも混ぜ込んだ造語でもあります。 イディオムとは、２つ以上の言葉が連なって、元の言葉の原義とは幾分違った意味を生む慣用句のこと。作家のスタジオ/オフィス、映像・デザインのプロダクション、様々な場を重ね合わせ、新しいイディオムを生み出してゆきます。 Read Less
