Artist Statement:
Since I began my works a couple years ago, my primary focus has been portraying life and its intricacies in a new light. Using an array of lenses, digital editing techniques, and other devices, my goal as an artist is to gain further understanding of myself and the way I convey my artist goal through my photography. Every new day is a further development of my artistic goals.
Biography:
Valentino Constantinou is a photographer. He was born in Cyprus, his father a Cypriot and his mother a Swiss, and he inherits the rich cultural background from both countries. Raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, he has always been creatively minded and had an interest in art since age seven. Winning numerous Scholastic and other awards in throughout his K-12 education, he plans to continue his photographic passion into his college years as well. His first exhibition was the APW Gallery’s “Something Different” exhibition on July 17, 2009.
