Hello friends,
Just a little bit about myself for those of you who don't know me. I'm currently completing my final year of my Bachelor of Design degree at the University of Alberta. I have been industry-trained in graphic design, photography, and some fine art. I really took to the photography part of my program, especially portrait photography and so have been freelancing professionally since 2006. Since starting, I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing models, stylists, and photographers. I love doing collaborations and creative projects and to keep things fresh, I have travelled to Europe looking for inspiration. After I graduate, I would like to move abroad to do photography work in the fashion and music industry just like my heroes, Annie Leibovitz and Max Abadian.
When doing photoshoots, I like to keep things fun and casual. I'm known to give a lot of direction and have lots of experience working with people of all levels of modeling experience. My style is based of fashion magazines; that is, bold portraits with a keen sensitivity to lighting and expression. With that said, my approach to photoshopping pictures is this: less is more. I want to show you the best you can look without fancy filters and heavy retouching. If you're down for that, send me a message!
