WOOD PROCESSING & FURNITURE DESIGN
University of Belgrade's Furniture and Interior design department, founded in 2004 with the mission to educate new type of experts for design and industry that would have both technical and artistic training in order to respond with high quality solutions to modern needs, fulfilling tasks from design concepts, throughout design and production process, up to improvement and marketing of design products. The Department is highly committed to Modern Art, Sustainable Design and ecological means of building, and activities are mostly oriented towards developing new products with emphasis to Sustainable Design solutions and savings in raw wood material. The Department holds regular exhibitions and design workshops, promoting sustainable creativity
