For a while, I have been using Smart Electronix MDA-VST collection. Not only are they free, but they are really handy, reliable, and functional. I still use many of these effects in my song writing. Check out my favs- Talkbox, Leslie, RezFilter, Image, Sub-Bass Synthesizer and Splitter.
