Photography has been a favorite creative activity since I was a kid. I love the way photography shows us things our eyes can't see directly, and lets us see the world through the lens of another person's mind.
In college I studied botany and for some years I was a consulting botanist. Later I returned to more visually creative work, while staying connected to science.
