Shout Out!
Tweeqim creativeLab: a tiny creative tribe banging tribal beats on ceremonial skull drums on an uncharted burning island in the middle of a raging sea.
WhoWeeBee
Established in 2006, TWEEQiM creativeLab is made up of husband and wife team miQ and Thuy3 (Willmott). Transplanted from Los Angeles Ca., TWEEQiM creates their works from their cozy studio in the Hollywood district of Portland, Oregon.
Thuy and miQ met at Mattel Toys where miQ was an art director for Hot Wheels, and Thuy was a graphic designer for both Barbie and Matchbox brands. With the move to Portland and birth of TWEEQiM, they have been creating design work, through a variety of mediums, for the likes of Nike, Upperdeck, Hurley, Marvel, Kid Robot, Hasbro, Dell, the NFL, Mattel, Mirrorball, and Pepsi. TWEEQiM also thrives on developing viral components and sonic easter eggs that live as companion pieces, creating histories and mythologies out of what was once a blank slate.
