After early years in my career as a writer and photographer, I have spent the past decade or so working as a publication designer. My specialty has been sports. I enjoy the passion and energy in the genre.

Since 2004, I have been expanding my design skills into the online world, producing a popular industry blog at www.sportsdesigner.com and I served as Web Editor for a news design organization a few years ago. I continue to look for ways to enhance my skills.

They say print is dead. I hope not - I'd like my subscription to Wired and Sports Illustrated to continue for a long time. And reading the Sunday paper, well, that's a bit of Americana, is it not?

I trust the next step in my career will be challenging and not across familiar ground.
