To Sonya, fashion is a combination of fantasy, dream and daily life. It is certainly a critical component of her life. As for her inspiration, her work is at it’s best when she thinks freely while observing what happens around her. Every detail of her daily life impacts on her style and drawing, such as her friends and their characters, galleries and book stores she visited, movies and theatre she went to, her travel experiences.

Depending on client’s needs, Sonya uses watercolor, inks, pencils and pastels, acrylic paint, drawing, and digital. She prefers bright colors and plays with saturations and complimentary colours as an overall colour plettte, with composition as a main focus in her work. Read Less
