Sofi Lundin is a Swedish photographer and freelance journalist. Since 2007 she has been based in Mumbai, India, documenting urban and rural life across the country. She has more than five years of experience as photographer and editor for a Non Profit Organization, working in the fields of education and sustainable rural development in India.

Currently Sofi is based in Oslo – Norway, but she is available for assignments across the borders. Sofi has experience in various fields of photography even though most of her images are in the field of documentary and travel photography. Her involvement, curiosity and interest in people give her images and stories an individual style.

Sofi has extensive experience in reportage and feature journalism. Her stories have been published by some of Norway’s leading newspapers/magazines. Since 2008 she is working on a book project together with Norway’s best selling author, Frid Ingulstad. The books for children about a rat’s adventurous journey through India have become popular among children in Norway. So far three books have been published.

In addition to her educational background in photography, she has a degree in Social Antropology, from the University of Oslo.
