As a young designer I find myself constantly pushing the boundaries regarding the existence of my design work. Attempting to create something that is both culturally accepted, and works to achieve a lasting impact. A reoccurring theme I have found throughout my work is the importance in creating a ‘second life’ for a product or service. This notion touches upon social, financial, and environmental specifications, which work towards shaping the perspective of sustainability.

I believe that success in relation to sustainable development lies within the need to create simple design solutions. This can be found throughout my work, as I create user-friendly design to enhance accessibility and approachability. Progressing into the professional industry, I look forward in the opportunity to learn from experienced designers who have personally worked in achieving sustainable design practices. I intend to approach design as a solution based activity, looking to achieve simple alternatives through
