"I'd like to buy a pet please, what kind of chameleons do you sell?"

I have been drawing since I was first able to wrap my fingers around a pencil. If I am not sketching I am doodling. If I am not doodling I am designing. If I am not being creative in some small way, then I am probably not breathing, and you should call 911.
Design
Graphic design came first, my first piece being a really crappy logo I did for someone back in 1986. Over 23 years later I am still learning but I think I have finally gotten the hang of it...

Thankfully the recipient of the really crappy logo took the time to give me some pointers and ended up purchasing the final. It was a real learning experience and I was lucky. I think the key is to knowing just HOW lucky you are. Life is a learning process and I love it. I am not happy unless I am exploring some new way to do something.
The Written Word
Writing keeps me moving forward, it motivates me. I love the written word and, incidentally, if you are in a room with me for an hour you will find that I love the audible word as well. O_o

I love to write and I find my greatest joy in combining my skill as a writer with my love of drawing. Any project where I can work both of them in is pure bliss for me which is probably why I love journaling so much. If I don't write ideas down I forget them so I am a perpetual organizer and list maker.

I am currently working on my first novel and a children's book about screaming vegetables.
