Head of UX and Motion Graphics

Working on an in-house agency for a multinational Brand has been giving me the opportunity and experience of being involved in the early stages of strategy to working and delivering integrated and award-winning campaigns in a bigger level of complexity and scale.

I also had the opportunity to lead and develop the Brand Motion Identity and the Digital Design Standards which are the design system guidelines in terms of UX / UI, UX Motion and Motion Graphics for all digital channels and markets.

Some of my roles and responsibilities consist of:

• Act as a digital brand guardian reviewing, and supporting local and global markets.
• Work with cross-functional squads and media agency to ensure the campaign's objectives are fulfilled and the right content is provided in terms of requirements and specifications.
• Liaising with stakeholders from the business and markets to define / support strategies to improve UX strategy and drive conversion.
• Training and manage communications with markets for the brand, UX and Motion alignment.
• Working closely with Data Analysis, SEO, and CRO teams to support informed design decisions.
• Work with Facebook, Instagram, Oculus, Snapshat, and Google to establish strategies for integrated campaigns as well as keeping up with technology developments and trends.
• Set the creative direction of UX, visual design, and motion.
• Manage the UX / UI and Motion graphics team and overview their work on information architecture, user journeys and flows, scenarios, wireframes, and storyboards.
• Manage a team of UX / UI and Motion graphics designers supporting their development and training to improve knowledge, skills and capabilities.
• Working side by side with the development team ensuring Front end and Back end meet project requirements.

As part of the company strategy, I worked closely with the board of directors to set up and grow the Digital department and company digital services offering.

I have successfully delivered digital and bespoke technology projects and campaigns in VR, AR and other interactive platforms and devices, managing resources, ensuring projects were delivered on time and budget.

Some of my responsibilities consisted of:

• Defining and implementing a digital/business strategy for the company and clients.
• Identifying industry trends and provide insights to the Board of Directors and Heads of departments
• Presenting and pitching digital services to existing and potential clients.
• Leading and presenting digital concepts internally and to clients.
• Supporting the Business Development team on digital and social media strategy and concepts, quotes and pitching internally and to clients.
• Consulting and supporting campaign managers on concepts, presentation, quotes and insights for the digital services delivery.
• Presenting and driving digital/ immersive technology workshops and conferences internally and externally to increase awareness, knowledge and insights.
• Creative Direction of integrated projects and campaigns in terms of UX / UI and interaction, social media, motion graphics and creative technology such as AR, VR and sensors.
• Identifying, resourcing and managing internal resources, freelancers and suppliers for projects based on requirements and specifications.
• Managing teams of direct and indirect reports from creative, UX, social media, development and software engineering (BE/FE, gaming and creative technology).
• Lead recruitment process for the creative and digital departments from Job specs and screening through interviewing and recruitment stages.
