Pebble

When we design a product, form is one of the parameters that occupies us the most.
Form is the physical expression of product’s substance. Through form we can
describe a product’s function, our intentions with it and not in the least, product’s
identity and it’s market position.
A mixer tap is a classic problem which is constantly being subjected to functional and
form innovation. In general design, not many mixer taps clearly express how they
function or that water is flowing through them. The semantics of the function are rarely
evident in the form...

The Seat

During this project I have applied a more theoretical approach to identifying potential
products. I have dealt with products and solutions for a special user group. Exploring
users’ emotional responses and their needs for products and solutions. I have
studied everyday life activities and motivations of user groups in order to discover
design opportunities for solving problems as well as offering new experiences in
social interaction patterns, dreams and values...
Expressed in another way, it was not just a question of solving a problem functionally, I
have tried to add an extra dimension, an emotional dimension.

BA project - Glider

This design project is the result of an effective cooperation with the manufacturer JSC
“Sportinė aviacija“ („Sports aviation“). The LAK20T glider’s base was used as a
foundation for the new design. Therefore user needs and habits were investigated,
what lead to some unique design decisions.
The constant analysis of the designing results with the engineers of the JSC “Sportine
aviacija” improved the glider and held it from becoming just shape and form.
The cooperation has resulted in a fresh look at flight and the birth of a unique
conjunction between nature and human technologies " a new design of a glider.
