Hello,
My name is Nuno, a 28 year old portuguese Visual Designer.
I approach my work, believing in the research and point of compromise between the manual and digital.
I graduated from ESAD (www.esad.pt), where I developed an expressive and emotional attitude, whereas during the Erasmus in Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Łodzi (www.asp.lodz.pl), I learned pragmatism and acquired the power of synthesis.
Complementing my academic training and subsequent professional experience, both in Portugal and in Poland, forced me to deepen the knowledge and skills in specific areas of design such as illustration or typography. Since then i worked in EuroRSCG Lisbon, so i have experience with ad agencies and big clients, such as Optimus, McDonalds and Benfica.
Late 2011 I created my own skateboarding apparel brand (www.avengerskateboarding.com) where i work as a graphic designer, illustrator and marketeer, and, doing so, i garnered an extensive knowledge in manual printing and textiles.
I undertake each project with a curious and open mind to create meaningful, considered and original work, relevant to the audience and to the studio/agency.
I have extensive knowledge of print, illustration, packaging, editorial and poster design. I also have some web design and motion graphic notions as well.
I am portuguese so i am an European citizen and i am fluent in portuguese, english and i speak a bit of spanish and french.
