Hello, welcome to my creative pool site! My name is Philip Appleton. I have been working as a freelance designer for the past year and a half. I graduated as a Product Designer BA(Hons) in 2010 from BIAD. I love to design as I hope this profile shows. Since having graduated I have gained a lot of graphic design experience as well as continuing to progress as a product designer. I am currently learning a bunch of web design skills, including HTML5 and CSS3. I am in the process of creating a website from scratch.
I am well skilled with using design packages such as; Rhino, V-ray, 3DS Max, Auto-Cad, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash and Dreamweaver. I authored an article on the affects of economic downturns on the design industry. It was published in the Design Management Institute's 2012 Journal.
Outside of work I spend most of my time searching for new music to listen to. If you've got anything you think I should listen to then let me know.
