This project was created to document the "making of" a fashion show. Designer Giovanni Ravello premiered his 2008 wedding gowns at Sothy's Spa in New York City. The salon featured a return to the couture elegance of the fashion "golden age". Each model did a wonderful job of not simply "living" in the dress but rather embodying an era of fashion so far removed from the excess and mass-production of the 21st century. 

Hands-down, my favorite moment of the evening was when an elderly gentleman from Argentina spotted the models on the street and casually planted a kiss on the cheek (almost lips) of an unsuspecting model.
