This past February I had the great honor of photographing and meeting Arch-Bishop and Nobel Prize winner Desmond Tutu while attending the International Student Festival in Trondheim. The festival convenes every two years with the goal of uniting students from all over the world to discuss and promote ideas for the future. This year the theme was "peace building". As a champion of social justice, Mr.Tutu has campaigned to bring an end to apartheid, poverty, racism and homophobia. He was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.
