My life began in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 1988. At a young age, I moved to Chilecito,
La Rioja, a place in which I would grow up surrounded by infinite mountains and very
starry skies, which, with the help of the many books and canvas that filled every corner of
my house, allowed my child imagination to expand limitlessly. My characteristic little men
made their first and shy appearances among the one-and-a-half-inch margins of my school
books and notebooks. When my mother, Alicia Alba, noticed these tiny yet distinctive characters,
she started incentivizing me to using professional materials such as acrylics and ink.
In 2006, I graduated from High School at the ‘Joaquin V. Gonzalez’ School in Chilecito and moved to Buenos Aires, where I started studying Sound and Recording at Universidad Nacional de Lanus. That same year I obtained an art scholarship at Proyectarte (a non-profit organization which creates, develops and supports innovative art projects in America). Here I got the opportunity to exhibit my drawings and paintings in many occasions and therefore started making my way into the city’s art circuit.
Nowadays I take classes with several important Argentinean artists as Leonel Luna and Jorge Gonzalez Perrín. My work has been exhibited in many artistic events and art galleries in Chilecito, La Rioja, Cordoba, La Pampa, Buenos Aires, at the Argentinian Consulate in NY and in the Zentral Bibliothek in Zurich, Switzerland. These works are currently displayed at Espacio Mazal (www.espaciomazal.com.ar) and ProyectArte (www.proyectarte.org). This year I received a scholarship “School of Projects” at Isidro Miranda Gallery (www.isidromiranda.com.ar). I’m planning mi fist solo exhibition for 2th July, at Prima Gallery (ProyectArte, Buenos Aires) with the artist Lux Linder as curator. This month i´ll represent La Rioja in the exhibition Argentina Pinta Bien, at the Centro Cultural Recoleta. Also I’m participating in a project of installation “La BOX” with Emiliano Iglesias.
