I’m Pascal Mouisset, french visual artist born in 1977. I work as illustrator and graphic designer too.
My works mixe installation and painting. I try to create environments (or something like that) and paintings (on wood, on canvas, on paper…) are my first tools.
Scenographical questions, strategy of in situ, status of painted image : these are some entries who structure my production. And these axes are completed by some wills : use the exhibition as a tool for construct the world, consider fiction and virtuality as parts of the real, invite the viewer to construct stories, prefer complexity to simple and spectacular ways… and some other things.
