More Than A Friend

More Than a Friend (MTAF) is the fine art and design studio of artists Krista Bursey and Jason Wasserman. Established in 2001 with a mandate of creating experimental artwork that combined both artists’ respective skills and styles, More Than a Friend is a constantly evolving collaboration between two very different artists. MTAF fine art projects focus on families of artwork with a developed theme and exhibition context. These projects are concieved annually and exhibited internationally as part of group or solo shows. The original artwork is also used to create limited edition prints and MTAF apparel, sold at galleries and stores.

MTAF projects also include contract illustration and graphic design. Some recent clients include Osiris, Universal Music, Fox and BBDO.

Also collaborating extensively with other artists, MTAF recently helped initiate the Parnell fine arts collective in Montreal showcasing the city’s underground art scene, networking talented artists for creation, commission and exhibition.
