Marianna Rossi is compulsive reader, writer and drawer from Rome Italy now living in the pacific Northwest, after graduating in Rome in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. She collects magazines, printed paper, the different scents of the ink that soaks the pages of novels, catalogues, business cards, cooking books, comics, newspapers and maps. Her native town Palestrina feeded her countryside and cows, polyphonic music and handmade board games built by cutting figures from mags. Rome inebriated her with its timeless beauty, chaos and the impredictible disorder found in the quietness. Now she goes around meeting human beings, crossing tracks and oceans and looking for one of the possible point of conjuction between her archived short stories and the (im)perfect line that the hand creates on a sheet of paper. She's looking for your agreement and your disapproval too.
