Mandy is a passionate individual who finds inspiration from everything that crosses her path. Through schooling, an internship in trend research, personal entrepreneurship ventures, and a former career in legal research, she has gained invaluable experience that includes exceptional writing skills and unparalleled attention to detail. Via these roles, Mandy further developed research, analytical and problem-solving skills, building upon strong organizational skills which are indispensable in any career. Additionally, Mandy was given the opportunity to exercise her creativity and work autonomously on more complex projects. It is here where she was able to foster successful working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Over the course of her studies at FIDM, Mandy was selected as Fashion Editor of FIDM’s MODE Magazine and interned for Kmart Young Men’s department as a trend researcher. Mandy developed a personal interest in trend analysis and also developed a skill to synthesize consumer trends from a wide range of sources, concerning an array of business topics and industries. In addition, Mandy has a professional background in business entrepreneurship where she generated an online clothing store for sorority and fraternity members of Greek organizations and co-founded a fashion group in San Francisco.
