Watercolor

My ecocritical series of artworks reveal the dominating relationship of humans upon the ecosystem. It explores and breaks down the hierarchical dualisms that exist in today’s still very patriarchal society, in which maleness, rationality, and culture dominate over femaleness, emotion, and nature. It comments on the unprecedented power of corporate capital and its destructive impact upon native lands and resources. My artwork is self-reflective in that it forces one to critically examine the devastating impacts on the environment, Third World, and women and children.
