Linda El Shami is a designer and branding consultant. But above all else, she is a storyteller. Drawing inspiration from the world around her and successful forays in creative industry she creates brands that have something to say. She tells their story using the visual language of shapes, colours and symbolism that crosses all borders, cultures and media.
Linda launched her creative career as a portrait artist and gallery owner in the UAE. She then enrolled in the American University of Sharjah in Visual Communications, which led to a branding position at advertising agency Bates Pan Gulf. From there she went on to manage large brands such as RTA and ADACH at the Brand Union eventually earning the position of design director at August Branding. At August she was responsible for launching brands such as 51 East, The City Hospital and Al Ain Wildlife Park and Resort.
Linda currently resides in Toronto, Canada where she provides creative solutions for a vast and eclectic list of clients from around the world while developing her cosmopolitan creative vision and flair for telling stories. Read Less
