“It really boils down to this: that all life is interrelated.
We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality,
tied into a single garment of destiny.
Whatever affects one destiny, affects all indirectly.”
Martin Luther King Jr.

As a designer, I try to draw inspiration
from every single experience in my life.
Be it tragedy or celebration, failure or success,
there is no moment too small
to be significant. When we take away the details and
get to the core of our experiences, we see that they
are not something that sets us apart from one other,
but rather they connect us in the fact that
we all share them in one form or another.
If I use these moments as inspiration when I am
designing jewelry, someone somewhere will connect
with my work, and if that connection causes that person to
have a response in their own life,
then I have succeeded as an artist.
