Lori Weaver is a native of southern Wisconsin, having received her degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Since June 2010, she has made her home in her beloved Bluegass country of Lexington, Ky.
She is currently working in communications, writing/editing, online content, design, marketing and advertising on a contractual and freelance basis.
Her previous career experience includes work as a writer, editor and web content provider for various regional and international publications, a role as vice president of communications for a large Midwest-based trade association, and account executive for an Omaha-based firm specializing in issues management and public relations.
