Since 1986 I’m graduated as a graphic designer. From the first day being employed at a communication-office, the manager gave me the responsability of the photo-department. With my background as a graphic designer, I always paied attention to give the pictures a good composition and a good light-angle. The motto “Less is more” is also very important. In 1991 I became independant. Portraits have always taken a special place in my photographic heart. Not taking portraits with a tele-lens, but portraits with a wide-angle lens. So I can not “steal” a portrait of someone.
With the wide-angle lens you have a very close contact with your model.
And you have to had a very intense communication and a good feeling with that person. Creativity is a daily habbit for me and I try to give my pictures an original touch. Read Less

The most I love, is taking portraits. In our very well equiped photostudio, we make a very personal portrait with the corresponding light. Not only in the studio, but also on the field I like to have very close contact with the people. Already 6 times, I have been in China. With my little knowledge of the Chinese language, the Chinese people let me take their portraits. Read Less
