I am a laid-back, Mid-western designer who just moved to California for something different in life and my career. I possess a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, with a minor in Music and a concentration in Marketing. The relationship of the business model to the Art industry became a huge interest for me while attending school and I continue to study this concept daily. Music is my other art; it brings out the spirit within. When fingers fly across the instrument, it resembles a paintbrush decorating the canvas. My favorite projects to do are those with motivated, enthusiastic clients. My goal is to get them excited about their project so that they feel involved in the work, making it evermore personal. I love to create logos. When done successfully, they speak 832,632 words in a split second. I enjoy a fast-paced environment full of variety, a place where my work can be constantly improved upon.

I have experience branding, logos, signage, brochures, wedding invitations/programs, banners, grocery ad layouts, package design, business stationery, and photography. I have worked with these projects from start to finish, including all the printing set-up and execution on laser and large format printers. I have worked with pre-press also. Read Less

My favorite program is Illustrator. I love to make logos and think I would really enjoy the perfectionism of creating a good font, because bad fonts are the enemy. I have 9 years experience with Adobe Photoshop, 5 years with both Illustrator and Indesign, and 3 years with QuarkExpress. Photography has always been a huge interest of mine, and I've taken 5 different courses, had photos accepted into gallery showings, and been to a handful of seminars.

As much as I love photography, the variety of work in the Graphic Design business is what drew me in. Fine Arts are also important to me, such as sculpture and watercolor/acrylic painting. Read Less
