I feel that the term garbage picker has been getting a lot of bad press lately. We're more akin to the treasure hunters of old, who forage for relics of a bygone era. While living in Yosemite National Park, I began to collect and create artwork on various trash and debris. Tree bark became a staple building and drawing material, while thrown out dresser tops became ideal canvases. Upon returning home I used Buffalo's industrial bone yards as a source of new inspiration. Judging by the piles of scraps in my studio, I'd say I've found it. Read Less
