I held the position as Art Director for the design department shared by Homes & Magazine and A&M Enterprises. For Homes & Land Magazine, I oversaw the design, layout, and production of two local real estate Magazines: “Homes & Land of Newport News/Hampton” and “Homes & Land of Williamsburg.” I was responsible for delegating the magazines’ workflow amongst myself and other designers while supervising the magazines’ tight production schedules. For A&M Enterprises, I oversaw the workflow and resources needed for all of the non-magazine related print materials such as: business cards, logos, postcards and booklets. For both companies, I simultaneously managed incoming projects and worked directly with clients to provide them with a variety of design services. Additionally, I maintained close relationships with several printers to assure consistent quality.

I’m a co-founder of RageHaus, an award winning, independent design studio. RageHaus is a husband and wife design team primarily focused on using screen printing and other self-production methods to create our projects. I share the responsibility of maintaining the studio’s blog, ragehaus.com that features current projects, inspirations, tutorials, and other aspects of our lives. I also share the responsibility of designing and screen printing various paper products such as: posters, sketch books, prints, and cards. These items are sold through our online store at ragehaus.etsy.com. RageHaus has won two awards for a business card design in the 2009 AIGA Grade 5 competition. Our projects and tutorials have been featured on various design blogs including: Design*Sponge, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Card Observer, and Ambiblog. In addition to those recognitions, we’re published in “The Image of Business Cards of Today” and set to be published in Design*Sponge’s upcoming book to be released in the Fall-Winter of 2010. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration that allows me to manage the business and financial aspects of the studio.

As a full-time designer at Mr. Boddington's Studio, I designed and illustrated a variety of wedding invitation suites, ancillaries and other stationery items. I not only prepared files for our printers, both letterpress and digital, but I was also the contact if issues needed to be managed.

Maple and Belmont is a stationery company that my husband and I started. We produce charmingly, witty stationery from start to finish in the Historic Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, VA. Our hand-drawn illustrations are screen printed onto various paper goods. We strive to bring our patrons a quality only found in short-run handmade products.
