My name is Katerina Todorova and I am a designer with a wide range of skills and some experience in the areas of user studies, User Centered Design, Human Computer Interaction, Participatory Innovation, Graphic design and Illustration.
I have graduated the Bachelor program of Engineering design in the Technical University of Sofia. During my education there I gained theoretical and hands-on knowledge about Graphic and Industrial design; I learned how to work with various materials (gesso, foam board, wood, metal, foam with polyfiller and cardboard with different thicknesses) and gained basic knowledge in 3D modeling software as 3D StudioMAX and Solid Works, and graphic design software as CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. I also gained theoretical knowledge about electronics and various machines for wood- and metal-processing.
After I graduated I spent one year of working as a graphic designer and improved greatly my graphic design software skills, especially with CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign. I also gained hands-on experience on preparing graphic materials for print. and developing illustrations for printing on plastic packages.
I recently graduated from the Master program IT Product Design in the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), campus Sønderborg. During my education in SDU I learned a lot about user studies, working with video material, organizing and facilitating a workshop and analyzing user data.
