KALA launched on November 2011. Accepted into Dubai Fashion Week’s Next Generation with her premiere collection, KALA designer Sasi Kala is a design force to be reckoned with. Having trained at Raffles Design Institute in Singapore prior to coming to Dubai to work as a design apprentice at Meher & Riddhima, KALA (meaning art in Sanskrit) has a unique identity that uses structure, draping and appliqué amongst other techniques, she also sources her fabrics locally in Dubai.
