<title>'Super Sunday' 09/10 titles on Sky Sports</title>
<description>I’m finally very pleased to show my latest animated opener for Sky Sports.
Following my initial concept, R&amp;D and design work of the sequence, I had the great pleasure of Directing and working with a fantastic team at The Mill to help me bring my creation to life. While Directing I took a very hands on approach with The Mill’s CG team and jumped in on the production side as well, creating all the previz camera moves myself in Cinema 4D. I also added my own 3D into the mix as and when it was required.

Longer than previous seasons titles it’s now a 30 second sequence for the Barclays Premier League Football on Sky Sports. A new and bold concept this year, tackling some of the most challenging aspects in CGI and pushing boundaries for sports openers. The story again follows the top four clubs in the league. The journey seamlessly transitions from game to game, player to player and stadium to stadium but cleverly always retains one constant piece of action through out. The final resulting animation being a complex choreographed motion capture edit through four different seasons.

My goal from the start was to place the audience right in the heart of the action. To achieve this I had to take the camera closer than ever before. Close enough to enable us to hear every footstep, breath and jostle between the players. I want everyone to feel as though they themselves are interacting with some of the best footballers in the world. A chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with their hero’s and play a part in the beautiful game!

This season Sky Sports will show 92 live Barclays Premier League games, with every match available in high definition on Sky Sports HD. Live Sky Sports matches include the big head-to-heads and major derbies, with all twenty clubs shown live within the first two months of the season.</description>
