For over 13 years Joel has worked as a published designer, illustrator, photographer and a photo manipulator. Most recently, Joel’s work has been featured in the 2010 Exhibition Calendar alongside such industry greats as Pete Harrison, Radim Malinic, Jonathan Wong, Chuck Anderson, and Nik Ainley.

Joel has spent the last three years working in the marketing department for one of the largest healthcare companies in North America as a creative developer, and was instrumental in the development of the corporate rebranding which took the company from its original Corphealth days to form the new LifeSynch brand which is the behavioral health and wellness division of Humana Inc..

Joel has worked with a diverse group of clients including DRS/NVS (Diagnostic/Retrieval Systems, Inc/Night Vision Systems), TXU, Sony Ericsson, Whole Foods Market, American Eurocopter, Humana/LifeSynch, Everything But Water, and the Dallas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Joel’s many artistic talents and his innate love of design, translate to his daily routine through his personal hobbies of both wood furniture design and the creation of complex origami figures. He enjoys challenging himself to expand and improve upon his creations in order to find ways to work with designs that have increased function, complexity, and artistic merit.
